Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie (born November 24 in 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as a host from the US at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced their intention to leave the show in May 2021 and begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the show Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her passion for politics to the fact that she became a mom in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able to be able to watch the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the citizens of the country, and came to appreciate for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was nominated by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1st Congressional District in the election of 2010. But she lost to Rob Wittman. She was the host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May 2017.
