Catherine Anne

 aCatherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born on March 4, 1954 is an actress from Canada. O'Hara is the proud winner of numerous prizes that include the Genie Award. In 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada and in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara first made her appearance as an actor in 1974 as in The Second City, an Improv comedy group in Toronto. She was part of the main ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara joined Candy in the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received praise from critics for both her writing abilities and acting and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022. She was joined by Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert and Tina Fey.
